Academic Audit
MSBTE provides facility of academic audit in the form of monitoring of Institute.Academic Monitoring through CIAAN norms first time introduced in 1996. It was revised in 2008, where in Internal monitoring (Academic audit) concept and academic calendar (Academic plan) concept introduced, whereas assessment was on the basis of grades. In 2016 Performance Indicator / Criteria’s for monitoring was introduced and latest revision in Performance Indicator / Criteria’s was carried out in the year 2018 Every year at the start academic plan is going to prepare which is then transform into academic calendar. The calendar such prepared strictly implemented throughout the year to achieve our academic goals. Review on academic activities were undertaken twice in the year in the form of internal academic monitoring as prescribed by MSBTE Mumbai.

External Audit of academic activities of the year also carried out every year by External Institute Monitoring Committee as per guidelines MSBTE Mumbai. EIMC so constituted by MSBTE comprising two member committee among which one will be Principal \ Head of institution and another will be academic in charge or senior faculty. During monitoring by EIMC the information such as courses offered, library, Infrastructure, resources, faculty information for respective institute and departments will be recorded. It tracks all the details of an institute which can be used for all reporting purpose, progress in the course and all these will be available through a secure online interface embedded in the “Online Institute Monitoring Portal of MSBTE”.

04 | New criteria that are compliance to condition of affiliation is introduced with maximum weightage i.e. 117 out 300 marks. | |
05 | Both IAMC and EAMC shall follow the criteria and sub criteria wise marking system given by MSBTE and IAMC shall carryout monitoring once in is semester prior to visit of EAMC. | |
06 | Monitoring of institutions below 5 yrs. will be conducted twice in a year. Whereas institutions above 5 yrs old will be conducted once in year. | |
07 | RBTE through RRC will review the reports submitted by EAMC and will convey the remarks, suggestion for improvement to the institutes. RRC shall recommend to the MSBTE, for the nature of action to be taken on the institutes. | |
08 | MSBTE will take action based on the recommendation of RRC |
